Guillotine Back Guage Book Clamp System
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately you would not be able to use the locking back guide on the Guillo-Max 17' Guillotine Stack Paper Cutter to cut a 2' strip in half. The hardware on the cutter prevents the locking back guide to get close enough to the blade to lock into position. Rugged construction with hydraulic clamping and cutting ensures the ultimate in dependability. A manual backgauge version of our popular Titan 200 cutter.

Many of the parts we manufacture are for obsolete paper cutters whose original manufacturer is no longer producing replacement parts. Many of our Polar paper cutter parts are for older Polar cutters that are no longer supported by the factory.

'Challenge' style spine clamp or book clamp for use on the guillotine paper cutter back gauge. These are sometimes referred to as Challenge book trimming guides (because this style was originally supplied with every new Challenge paper cutter), these spine clamps keep books and other stapled or stitched booklets flat for accurate and square cutting. They are very effective at assuring an even cut by holding down the spine of a book while it is pressed against the back gage.The book clamps install on the paper cutter backgauge by tightening them to the back gauge ribs.
